Biblioteca Centrală Universitară „Lucian Blaga” (Cluj), Clubul Monarhiștilor Clujeni, Alianța Națională pentru Restaurarea Monarhiei (filiala Cluj) organizează expoziţia documentră intitulată “Casa Regală a României în viaţa Clujului”. Parteneri ai evenimentului sunt Muzeul de Istorie al Universităţii “Babeş-Bolyai” şi Liceul Teoretic “Mihai Eminescu” din Cluj.
Vernisajul expoziţiei, cu un accentuat caracter istoric, va avea loc vineri 17 noiembrie 2017, începând cu orele 16:30, în cadrul B.C.U. “Lucian Blaga”. La eveniment era aşteptată şi prezența Alteței Sale Regale Principele Radu al României, dar care, din cauza sănătăţii fragile a Majestăţii Sale Regele Mihai, a fost nevoit să rămână în Eleveţia.
Expoziția se înscrie în demersul regăsirii luminilor uitate dintr-un trecut care este sănătos să fie ştiut şi recuperat. Numeroasele fotografii (unele necunoscute sau puţin cunoscute), extrasele din presă (care mărturisesc despre o lume trecută dar în care sunt implantate rădăcinile prezentului), alte documente importante, vin să ilustreze frumoasele şi rodnicele întâlniri dintre comunitatea clujeană şi Casa Regală a României, desfăşurate între anii 1919-2016.
Însemnata zestre documentară devoalează implicările decisive, inclusiv financiare, ale Casei Regale în evoluţia Clujului universitar, în sprijinirea şcolii, a culturii, a bisericii sau a sportului.
Expoziția – care va rămâne deschisă până la sfârşitul acestui an – se adresează tuturor celor interesați de farmecul și ineditul vieții interbelice clujene, dar și de tumultul perioadei postdecembriste. Publicul vizitator, avem această certitudine, va avea şansa unei surprinzătoare şi frumoase incursiuni în trecutul ultimului secol de istorie locală şi românească.
